Welcome to the asynchronous version of Intro to LGBTQ+ Communities, the beginning of the Safe Zone+ Program offered by the LGBTQ+ Resources Center at George Mason University! Throughout this module, which we estimate will take an hour or two to complete, you’ll learn language and techniques to use to grow as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community.

After completing this asynchronous module, participants will be able to:

Navigate contemporary ways to engage with inclusive language.
Distinguish between gender and sexuality.
Identify examples of allyship.
